Privacy

I built ShotCard to be private by design, and this page is written to be read, not to cover tracks. Here is everything it does with your data.

Your photos never leave your device

ShotCard runs entirely in your browser. When you add a photo, it is opened and processed locally on your computer or phone — reading the camera settings (EXIF), drawing the card, and exporting the image all happen on your device. Your photos are never uploaded, and there is no server that could receive them.

No accounts, no personal data

There is nothing to sign up for and I don't collect names, emails, or any personal information from using the app.

What's stored on your device

ShotCard remembers your style choices (template, fonts, colors, watermark, logo, presets) using your browser's local storage so they're there when you come back. This stays on your device; clearing your browser data removes it.

No analytics, no tracking

There are no analytics or tracking scripts on this site — no cookies, no visit counters, nothing watching what you do. If that ever changes, I'll say so plainly on this page first.

Fonts

The Montserrat typeface loads from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a standard request to Google's font servers (like most websites). No other Google services are used.

Feedback form

If you send feedback, only what you type in the form is sent to me (handled by Netlify, the site's host). Sharing your email there is optional.
